What We're Not: Please note that Rick and
Tina are not certified or licensed in anything, and do not have advanced
degrees or training in any subject. We are not grief counselors or social
workers. We have not taken any psychiatric training. We are not psychics, nor are we
mediums. Now that you know what we
aren't, let us tell you what we are. What We
Are: We are a very happily
married couple who came up with an idea for a website. We offer
encouragement, sympathy and support. If asked for advice, we may
give you an idea of what works (or has worked) for us. We may give you
information on our experiences so you know that what you're going through
isn't unique and that you're not going crazy. But we can't tell you what
will (or will not) work for you. Angel
Friends members: The folks with information
listed on Angel Friends have asked that their information be posted. We do
not solicit members through any mass e-mailings. (Frankly, being a
two-person operation, too many members would overwhelm us. But that would
be a wonderful problem to have.) We do not screen our
members. We take them at their word that they are interested in what
AngelFriends.com stands for. We believe them when they tell us that they
are interested in meeting, supporting and learning from others who are
interested in the Divine realm or contacting angels or deceased loved
ones. Your
Privacy: Please
be careful about any personal information you either post on a message
board or guestbook. Be very careful with information you may exchange with
others you meet through this site. We do ask for the following
information: First Name, City, State and Zip, Country, and a valid e-mail
address. This simply makes it easier to list people so other member will
know who may be near them. We do not ask for - nor
will we post - addresses, phone numbers or any other personal or financial
information. We do not ask for funds. Only two people - Rick and
Tina - can officially speak for this web site. No one else can claim to
speak on our behalf. Anyone approaching you with
requests for any such information should be avoided - and reported to the
proper authorities and the host Internet Service Provider (i.e. AOL,
Yahoo, Earthlink, etc.) We would hate for something
to happen to anyone who visited our site. If you get an uneasy feeling
about someone, please pay attention to it. If you don't feel comfortable
in meeting someone - DON'T DO IT! If there are ever any
changes to our site, we will post the changes prominently on our site, and
will send out an e-mail message to anyone on our mailing list if the
information warrants such a mailing. Hopefully, now that you've read all this, you're
